3rd Q&A


Hello everyone, Keyko here bringing you the third Q&A, but before showing you all the data I wanted to make a small preface about certain things and how the whole session will be structured.

I'll be numbering everything, both questions and non-questions. It's a big essay so I'm leaving behind ways to stop and resume. I've removed generic praise. I appreciate them, truly, but the Q&A is big, almost as big as an update. I'm keeping only the ones with a sauce or the ones I can comment on.

I broke the long comments into tinier pieces for better readability so that I could also chime in if needed.

I will copy paste the preface from our second Q&A because what I said still stands true and there's no other way to put it. I might keep using it.

Before jumping into the Q&A I have to preface a few things because it’s hard for everyone to understand emotions through words alone. You can, but they can be misunderstood.

My tone shifts between serious, joking and dramatic. (I love to be dramatic for absolutely no reason at all.) Your questions didn’t offend me and I hope my answers won’t offend you back.

My opinion on the game isn’t meant to be considered canon. I don’t want to taint your theories and thoughts on the story because I’m not perfect either. Sometimes you can find meaning I didn’t expect to add, a layer I didn’t see and, if it resonates with you, please do keep it.

And absolutely do not force people to change their minds because the author said this so it can’t be that. Don’t destroy people’s fun, ok?

What you’ll learn from me is my thought process and behind the scenes. I did my best to keep spoilers out of the way, but I figured stuff can slip out, be careful of what you want to learn.

TL DR this is just a fun discussion we’re having and some questions brought to light issues I didn’t see before. (There’s too much content and having a fresh reader tell me about it is helpful.)

1)Seems like the stats are staying consistent. The majority played Ryan then Blake and lastly Dylan.
I'll expand on that in the next question.

2)I'm happy to see these results because I totally recommend reading more routes, especially Patrice and Liam. If you were unsure this is me sending you a sign to give them a chance. They'll surprise you a lot!

Clyde is nice as well but not as fleshed out as those two at the moment so he can wait. He starts going somewhere with his D4, but it's not available yet. (Plus I plan to rewrite portions of his N2.)

Russell is not for everyone. I don't recommend him unless you like his character. You'll understand the story just fine without torturing yourself.

3)This one is interesting, things shifted greatly from the last time. You can see how people who read multiple characters have a completely different view from the ones who focused on single routes

The ones that catch my eyes the most are Joel's, Liam's and Ryan's. I'm surprised Patrice's is in such an unstable spot, maybe his D4 will give him a hand uwu

Q5 I would like to see the characters' parents.
A5 You won't meet all the parents, but you will get to see some of them for sure.

6) I love the main cast. They're all relatable in different ways. Each one has a distinct vibe and plays off each other well. They don't feel like a group of stereotypes.

I want to write some ratings for fun. Note I am biased in favor of canines so I won't rate Patrice to keep things fair but I will rate Liam because he's instrumental to the plot. I'll also refrain from rating Clyde because his scenes are getting revised.

Joel is a national treasure that must be protected at all costs. I love his pettiness. The "hatting" is adorable. He's a pushover but tries his best. It would be cool to see him grow as a character and break out of his shell. 

I also like the question marks surrounding his connection to the occult and his biological father. Overall, he's my favorite dog on this site. His best moments are Russell's N3 and Dylan's D3 after slapping him.

Blake. I know this seems incredibly biased, but I swear I'm trying my best here! Anyways, he's pragmatic to a fault. I love how this can lead to adorable moments like the D2 hug at the mall. But more importantly, it's probably going to lead to his death. I find this pretty ironic considering how refreshing competence and practicality are in a horror story. 

I also like how he seems fine on the surface unless you read his route; I can see the parallels with real life. His route is very delicate, and while I'm not too familiar with stories involving suicide, things have been handled quite well so far. I like how he deals with Joel's speech. It gets Blake to reconsider but it doesn't magically fix everything. Unrelated, but I'm still not sure why he's associated with sloth but I guess we'll find out?

(It's not said out loud, but the clues are there.)

Dylan. Who doesn't like a good tsundere? His dynamic with Joel reminds me of Ryan's but in the opposite way. They both have cute moments but ironically I feel like Dylan gets way more embarrassed than Joel.

Dylan doesn't shine as brightly in other routes, but that's more than made up for by having a fantastic N3. He's at his best when he interacts with Joel, but I also like when he shows remorse for committing murder in his D3 "slap" path.

Ryan. I love that "dumb bear energy" and yet I also like how he's more competent than he lets on. His moments with Joel are generally the most adorable out of all the others. Ryan also has a violent side that was foreshadowed at first, but I didn't become aware of its extent until his D4. Speaking of, I didn't truly believe he would consider doing what he did in Liam's N3 until his D4 release. 

This guy's dark side is quite scary to behold and that one sprite of his really nails this down. My favorite moment is his N3 scene in Nia's room. "Stupid dog, you're making me act up..." is the best one-liner of this entire novel and it's not even close.

Liam. I know people don't like him as much as the others but I think his character is pretty solid. He's written to be annoying and I'm fine with that. His shenanigans aren't grating by any means. By the way, his finger gun scenes are the best. They're so disgustingly, hilariously awkward and I love that. Unrelated, but I actually thought he would be associated with envy before his N3 release. 

There were some clues like "You wanted what we shared together" from his D3 phone call and "You still have a certain luxury that I've lost" from Ryan's N2. After the recent update, greed now makes a bit more sense; he essentially doomed everyone to achieve his goals. I also don't see Clyde as a greedy person anyways.

Russell. He's a contender for being the most complex character, along with Blake. He's not very forthcoming  in other routes, so he doesn't stand out as much as the others. However, I love how ugly things get in his N3. He seems like the opposite of a Gary Stu; his character is painfully realistic. Weird thing to say considering he can apparently read minds. 

Anyways, his best scene is probably during his N3 when he confesses. "I'm in trouble now that you've ruined both plans" is such a moment. I guess Joel has some competition in the pettiness department.

Q7 I like "Almost" all the datable husbandos and where the story is going, it is very interesting/entertaining; except for Russel, I'm sorry, but I find him extremely boring and unattractive.
A7 There's no need to feel bad, that's just your personal preference! I am the first one to say that Russell is a tough pill to swallow and reading through his route won't "reward" you unless you have the mindset for it.

Night 3 Rankings

8)I was looking forward to these stats. I was curious if Dylan would get dethroned by Liam and I think he managed to survive mostly because not many people have read Liam's N3. I personally recommend it. It even got a +1 CG buff with a recent update.

And then we have "everyone hates Russell" but his N3 ranks pretty high up. Do you guys enjoy pain? Me too!

9)This one was just a fun fact. I'm planning to make more of these situations later in the story with multiple choices and endings depending on what you select. Russell A/B also have mirror easter eggs (Or, you know, ever wanted to see Joel's in game sprites?) if you ever decide to pry there.

12)I'm going to be completely honest. I didn't see this one coming. The knight took it? Guess his vibe was enough to carry the whole thing.
I thought cerberus or slime would claim that spot but they're still pretty high up.
Glad to see the faker up there too. That sassy little shit. I wonder how they truly look like ~

Night 3 free space

Q13 Liam N3 choice didn't have the option for replaying both choices.
A13 You mean he doesn't have an A/B side? Originally, before settling on merging, I wanted to make that split during his D4, but I'm glad I gave up on this plan. Updates would take a lot longer otherwise.

Q14 I thoroughly enjoyed the knight because after the first route I encountered it, I would try to guess what the other 'sinners' were. The slime is just a silly lil(big) guy and friend shaped.

A14 Thank you for actually finding that small little detail fun because, apparently, this seemed to have touched a sensitive spot in a lot of people causing quite the discourse. I'm sorry. I personally didn't realize this would've been a problem. It's such a minor thing? I saw it as a nice way to tease the characters and the root of their problems. That's… also why I added those dream sections, to shine a better light on the whole sinner thingy and increase overall hints. Hopefully this gets cleared up as the story progresses.

Q15 The reason I rated Liam's N3 highest is because I enjoyed the characterization shown in it, from Liam and Joel's interactions, to the confrontation between Joel and Ryan, and partly Russell's choices too.
A15 Thank you! Liam's N3 was really fun to write, but also painful in a way.

Q16 Just LAZY that the character's death CG is always the same. Just change the character, and it's still a dead guy torn open held by chains and above a satanic circle. I would have preferred other types of deaths, like being crushed by a boulder, being possessed by a ghost and then killed by another member of the group, or even suicide.

A16 Lazy? Really? Do you have ANY idea of how much money goes into making an fvn? We started from NOTHING and we're NOW barely scraping something for the future of our group. Up until N3 was revealed I had ONE person supporting me on Patreon. O N E. I paid for the art, I paid for the music, I paid for the CGs, I paid for an editor and sometimes I need to pay my coders too. Money doesn't grow on trees. I had to cut costs somewhere. I had to find another way. We were limited in what we could do so I settled for making it memorable only once. We could've done better, I agree, but I didn't have the tools at the time to do what you wanted me to do. It's easy to download the game for free and then tell me how you would've loved to see me throw more money at the game. I'm not a triple A title. I also want better and I will do better which is why, if you're reading this, I promise you here and now that the next death scenes will be unique. Now I can do that. We're growing. More people are helping us which means I get to try things I couldn’t do before. Please, don't call me lazy. I've done so much work all by myself, so much so that I felt overwhelmed and lost and nobody behind me to help me stand. Sorry, I dragged this too much. Give me time. You'll get what you want.


Q17 Liam night 3 at least compared to Ryan's is far away more interesting in Ryan Yandere really surprised me.
A17 Haha, I think I know who typed this one. Ryan is a character I really like because he tries so hard to hide all the ugliness inside of him, similar to Joel but for very different reasons.

Q18 You really made it scary, but it was a interesting setting for the character to interact and handle, very entertaining and thrilling
A18 Thank you! I hope to make the next night even better.


Q19 didn't really like how Russell was made out to be a thief and not trusting anyone.
A19 It's not necessarily a bad thing? Like, if I can offer another view, people who are forced to commit crimes because they're poor or have no other choice left. They're not necessarily bad people, some might even be good, but they were never allowed to be anything else. Society left them behind. And when that happens you're left to fend for yourself.

20) Here's some more ranking explanations. I left out Patrice's route because I haven't played it in a while.

(Reading these made my day, gotta leave them all here for everyone to read as well uwu Spoiler warning for multiple N3s, skip to 21.)

Dylan. It's not hard to guess why. It has two remarkably different days packed into one. Both are interesting, but I love the "slap" path way more because of the library confrontation. Having Joel inadvertently cause himself to faint, somehow force himself awake, and then ask Dylan if he regrets murdering someone while bleeding out of his mouth is so freakin' badass. Another good moment is when Joel commands Dylan to use him as a shield. It's always cool to see that dog come out of his shell and use his wits.

Blake. It has a lot of memorable moments. The doorknob comment was funny, Joel's speech was fantastic, and inviting Blake was very cute. Blake outsmarting the faker is also cool (Ryan would never). Overall, Blake and Joel share a pretty unique dynamic in that it's hard to predict what's going to happen next. It's probably why I remember Blake casually sharing the telescope story during their ask-a-question game.

Russell. The mirror scenes are the star of the show. I love reading about lore and this scene comes with a lot of new implications that can't be gleaned from other routes. Also seeing Joel's sprite in action and being petty with himself is so amazingly cool. Overall it's a messy route that can be hard to get through, but in a good way. And no I will not elaborate.

Liam. How would N3 play out if Joel's partner actually knew what was going on? Well, here we have it folks. I know the outcome isn't much different but it was nice to finally see Liam react to all the spooky stuff. I also like how his death wasn't due to incompetence; getting betrayed by a possessed Ryan was a good twist. The slime entity was also the most interesting "villain" by far. It has unclear motives that raise a lot of new questions.

Ryan. I love Ryan and Joel's relationship, they're so adorable together. That being said, Ryan's N3 is good but not as memorable as the others. It doesn't have any unique "villains" or cool lore tidbits; the entire night is carried by their dynamic. Despite that, I must say that the scene with Ryan's letter was super well-written. The "kiss" path's guitar confrontation was also great, but I'm still waiting to see if it actually changes anything.

Clyde. His N3 is like an inverse of Ryan's: it has a unique "villain" and cool lore tidbits, but Clyde's relationship with Joel is still a work in progress. To be fair, his D2 is also a work in progress. I think his route will improve substantially as they spend more time together. Other than that, I like how Clyde tries to save Melissa despite knowing it's a trap. I also think the best moment is when Joel gets seriously injured. I know this sounds weird, but it would be interesting to see more of that visceral, physical struggle. When you keep in mind that the castle wants Joel alive, this scene creates a lot of suspense. It's also the only time where things truly felt hopeless.


Q21 Overall enjoyable. My only worry is that there are SO many characters the ones I want will take forever to finish (not to belittle others so much, but some just stand out FAR more than the rest do)

A21 I'm so sorry for the long waiting times. As I mentioned in another post it was a forced decision to give us the time to grow an audience while saving on production costs. A long VN means I can keep reutilizing assets while focusing my resources somewhere else like CGs and music. For future projects we will be decreasing the number of routes, that way waiting times will go down with it.


Q22 I like the idea of the Night 3s. Rewinding to the past to undo what was done it was also nice to see other versions of the MC Joel in the other routes i.e. Russel's route seeing the mirror Joel having done a route with Patrice , although I didn't see where I played on Patrice's route maybe in the future update I will see Present Joel interacting with a mirror in Patrice route to interact with Past Joel. I also like the idea that everyone is tied to a sin except Joel , which being a blank slate which coincidentally is the main target of the castle. Maybe I'm speculating much but I think Joel does embody every sin and do like a true ending where in which you will need to play every route to get it. Overall the writing is gold.

A22 I didn't forget about OJ, don't worry. It wasn’t mentioned anywhere because it didn't happen yet. Thank you for playing the game!

Need to know more about. We're still left clueless to the overall issues even if we can speculate given the info we have going on and impossible to make a clear choice yet.
(That's okay, we will learn more about them and their relationship.)

Motives for his level of involvement in the affairs of Joel/Ryan are questionable and unclear.
(Fair answer, just wanted to get some "first impression" responses.)

Intriguing. The thought that these three were a group before piqued my interest. The fact that Ryan suggested that Joel was chaining Ryan down was good.

I like her a lot, I wanna know about her memories and what happened to her in the castle.

-Coming from Dylan's N3- likely a way better person than Liam, i trust her, but i also trust the weird circumstances and Dylan's experience to not trust her too much.

Also pick a safer place to go missing in, gurl.

I like the idea of Joel having some more guidance through the whole medium thing, and I think she works well for it. Her wanting to hide from Liam is a bit weird, but she has her reasons. I did find it off that she was able to go through Joel's memories, but then later *had* to ask for permission to do so.

(I think someone asked me this before but technically Joel already gave consent when he accepted her into his body by wearing the ring. So she was able to revisit surface level memories, the fresh ones who are easier to access. And so this lands into the middle ground consent, to dive deeper into the past a clearer consent is needed.)

Good design. Interested to see how she progresses

She seems a lot more trustworthy after Ryan's D4 release. I was wondering if she was a sleeper agent for the castle but this is fine too.
(That's an interesting take.)

Love her. Wish for more her. Having strong female supporting characters (good guys or bad) even in a primarily gay furry VN is nice. Echo and Extra activities both had great female characters.
(I have more females lined up!)

First of all, her ability to manifest her pre-demise form, as well as her stating that she is yet to recover all her memories is an interesting detail as ghosts are shown to be reduced to their base emotions with little to no memories. Even before being tethered to Joel, it is shown she still has some pre-demise memories.
(Mediums have a thicker skin, but time breaks everything down eventually.)

After being tethered, being able to maintain a form as well as recover more memories seem to imply that her ability to maintain her form is tied to her ability to recover more of her memories, of which she relies Joel's soul to stay grounded.
(She does rely a lot on Joel. This wouldn't have worked with someone else.)

Perhaps in turn for what she gave up, she was allowed bits of her personality, but it raises the question as to who can accept/make a contract especially if a contract holder is no longer alive.
(This one will make more sense in future days, we will keep touching this argument whenever Nia recovers a part of his memories.)

She looked cute as hell. I think she will be a core part of the story, kinda like "Beyond Two Souls" gimmick or something. She definitely has power alongside Joel but it's also compelling to know that she wants to hide from her brother in order for him to not become unstable.
(I also love her design a lot, her spiky hairstyle reminds me of a hedgehog.)

Q30 Ryan day 4 was good overall, the strange think for me is when they say something about their past together, its hard for me to care because it was not shown to the player, Its like ''Oh okay they've been through some hard times together but yeah whatever'' I think some flashback before or right after they say those things will highly increase the emotional weight. I know that is good for the mystery but personally I think it would be much better if its shown for us to get more emotional evolved.

A30 It would drag. I needed to focus on different things. That's just… being nostalgic and remembering small things they've gone through together, nothing mind-blowing that was worth telling in detail. But, eh, I disagree. I said this before— you can easily get attached to characters without the full picture, besides, you already have some BIG pieces in your hands. Anyway— you'll get to experience what you were looking for, that's mostly the reason I didn't want to dive into it yet. I have a much MUCH better place for it.


Q3 1The Day 4's Ryan parts were Very emotional and felt very real in some way.
A31 See? I told you so. For some it will resonate more than others and that's okay. It makes me very happy when this happens.

Q32 I Love that bear in all scenarios

Q33 Ryan is to tsundere in certain routes
A33 Is he? Joel seems a better tsundere than him I think.

Q34 I like grouping "You're not that person anymore" with "I'll be waiting" and "Promise me". This prioritizes being considerate over being honest. I combine the others for the opposite effect. On one hand, I can see Joel preferring the "considerate" path and that also lets Ryan keep the opportunity to surprise him with the guitar. On the other hand, the "honest" path has them address their issues so that's probably better in the long run. Their will-they-won't-they relationship might last forever if something doesn't happen, so that's why I think the "honest" path is slightly more optimal.
A34 I like the way you think. Joel is usually considerate, but he's also not a good liar. And sometimes you need to say the truth even if it hurts.

Q35 I still wonder what "I need you to set Ryan free" means and why that evoked such strong emotions from Ryan and Joel. Side note, I think there's a moment during Blake's D3 that alludes to this idea. It would be so cool to see more references across routes! It reminds me of the Devine stuff too.
A35 I'm keeping those up! There's a lot of references and mentions of what the other characters are doing which is a clear cut sign of "their routes are also progressing while we're doing our thing", that sentence should already make sense but we will bring it back later don't worry.

Q36 I like the decision to take a break from the castle for some slice of life. The good and bad moments can elevate each other.
A36 It's basic writing knowledge. You NEED downtime to digest things and to prepare for other big events.

Q37 Ryan has a secret...eating disorder? I'm not entirely sure what's going on but it'll be interesting to see that unfold.
A37 There's more to come for sure.

Q38 I kinda miss hearing from the rest of the main cast. Well okay, I didn't feel that way about Liam but that dude is everywhere. Anyways, Ryan's N3 and D4 felt like a marathon of Joel and Ryan moments. Now don't get me wrong, their dynamic is fantastic and this is still Ryan's route. However, I would really appreciate a few more intermissions like when Russell urges Patrice to face his fears during Ryan's D3. And no, the group meetings don't count. I'm not sure why, but it's not the same.

A38 I read a feedback about "boxing" characters which leans into what you're saying here. I'll keep this in mind though. We did get a new character introduced and you'll see more in the future, I'm unsure if I'll get the main cast involved? I can't say for now, but if I see an opportunity I'll take it.

Q39 Loved it overall. Want more more more lol but I understand that isn't feasible. Wanting more though is a good sign about the overall VN.
A39 Yeah, I already discussed waiting times and why this is happening in the first place. It's the best compromise I could come up with.

Q40 The idea of having a ghost with a contract (Nia) is quite interesting because contracts are implied to exist because there is something to bargain with, ie; removing Joel's seal (more soul produced) in exchange for a second chance, as the curse seeks to harvest more souls as a known motivator.
A40 You're correct and, in a way, Nia is already getting something from Joel.

Q41 After death, one does not produce any more soul which brings to the question of the nature of Nia's contract, whether she made it pre or post-mortem.

Pre-mortem means that she had soul to bargain with prior to her demise, but it runs into the issue of why she still has a contract after death and harvesting.
Post-mortem potentially means that she bargained for something, most likely her memories, but it raises the question of why a contract would be made after the soul had been harvested.

A41 Haha, at first I wanted to give it to you but then I saw how much you've theorized and it feels wrong to take that away from you. Like, what you said it's not wrong but you've misunderstood who made a contract with her.

Something you liked about the game

Everything in Liam N3 is perfect.
the lore, the story between friends, the events that is happening to each others
I really liked the characters and their interactions.

A77 Is D1 quieter than other days? It might be caused by the BGs constantly changing and to avoid overwhelming the reader with constant music swaps we opted for a silent approach which is noticeable if you're a slow reader, sorry about that. We fixed it later days.

The game itself is self aware enough to call out the player on it. He is a good character, don't get me wrong. It feels... off for the overall story, even if I understand his situation fully. I can fully see them getting along more down the road, and I do love the idea they aren't good in the beginning! It's just going to take me a LONG time to care for their friendship with each other (which makes perfect sense)

A79 Russell is a character I wanted to write as a reminder to people that not everyone will like you no matter how hard you try. Sometimes certain friendships are doomed to fail and you get frustrated, mad, but there's nothing we can do. Especially when in an fvn the mc has this powerful charm that is supposed to win over everything. Russell is not that character. You can only make the pain go away and maybe you'll come to understand one another but there isn't a real reward, just a cruel reality.

A84 Because this isn't true. He was looking for someone who fulfilled the requirements to access the curse. Liam was trying to find them by excluding what he and Dylan had in common — being a medium. Curses don't have the power to decide and distinguish; it all comes from their subconscious desires. And it is tied to the reason they became a curse in the first place.


Q85 How Mark legit seemed to be a demon, appearing out of nowhere, making Joel feel THAT terrified and uneasy, that speed... Even assuming it's due to his past (trained to survive, bloodthirsty towards Joel unlike Dylan), there was absolutely no one in the cafeteria in the morning? In the hallways? Also no way Dylan told him his red cheek was due to us, and Liam wouldn't really need to snitch to have us brought to him, so how did he know we slapped him? I swear I thought he was a demon summoned by Liam that could freeze time or something at first, or only we "special people" could see him.

For the college thingy being empty I realized too late how that might not be the same everywhere and I based on my own experience which is that everyone is in class and everywhere else is basically a desert until the bell rings and rarely you see someone walking out. I've been thinking about adding a bonus CG there when Mark's sprites are ready so I'm thinking about using the elevator over walking, which should be more believable. No you're right about Dylan not telling Mark, but Mark was aware of what they were up to and figured that it was Joel by the way Dylan had been avoiding the topic altogether.

That goes for splits too, I was worried for Dylan N3, but nothing changed (no random bad end), which is ok, but D4 is probably gonna be a bit different, I'm very worried one is getting a "better romance" because of a slap (but I'd have lots to say about that, gonna show my snout on discord soon as I got busy when I joined, lol).

I personally stick with one character because if I switch to another I feel like I'm betraying the other ): , unless it is a requirement in the story, for a true ending or something.

A130 We will never force you to play another route to get something like that, you will be able to get a true ending with just one route, but I do encourage you to play other characters because it's worth? Doing so. I'm not trying to be arrogant, I just hope to provide a fun experience. Anyway the point is the game should never feel like a chore and having to play all routes to get a true is just something I don't approve of.


Q131 Do you plan on making short VNs to explain character's backgrounds?
A131 It won't be needed. You'll get those in the base game, but I might do that for a different character that isn't main cast.


Q132 have someone reread because I've seen a few vns where there is the wrong word being used in the sentence or the words are missing
A132 We recently did, and I fixed D1/D2 so far. I also have an editor who adjusts my grammar. Sorry, I know my english isn't perfect, I just hope it doesn't ruin the game too much.


Q133 I just checked the music room and Joel has a theme song!? I was going to say that Dylan's was the best but this one takes the cake. Although honestly they're all really good. It'd be nice to have more moments worthy of a character theme.

Q134 Overall I really do like, and support, this VN. I just worry about there being TOO many characters to start out with. Most VNs do use the other characters, eventually. It takes a lot of work and time to make updates (and we appreciate it!). Just a pain to be like "oh, next 3 months I won't see updates for any of the characters I like." I know that sounds biased, and I am for Blake, Ryan, and Patrice. I hope that lets you know how much I enjoy them and their character, especially with Joel's character. The best thing for me is seeing super good chemistry with them. I even like Liam and Joel together! Some characters feel a bit... forced, for lack of a better word is all. I understand in "ten updates" I'll begin to care for them but that'll be years down the road to see. Thanks for all you do! Please don't think I'm unhappy with the project, just want to see more of it.

A134 That's okay. I'm not sad that you have preferences, it's bound to happen and as long as you're enjoying the characters you like then I'm happy as well. I also understand that it's frustrating having to wait so long because we have 7 routes but it was a strategic choice due to lacking funds. Longer story = more time to grow = less spending by recycling assets and we needed that time so bad because we started from zero. We were all small artists and creators that didn't rely on anyone to give us a boost if anything, when we released our first build, the reactions were mainly hostile and since then we've fallen into this invisibility with nobody knowing anything about us. We just don't exist, sorry I'm rambling again. It started to change a bit after finishing all the N3 but as you can see, that's basically VERY recent. We weren't doing so well but I persevered. I appreciate every single comment and feedback I get. I dont get many. It's very quiet over here so these Q&A are special to me. I get to talk with you all!

Spoiler for Blake's route, but:

The one thing that stuck out to me reading all of this...I'm actually a little surprised someone didn't immediately associate Blake with Sloth. He certainly seems to have a distressing knack for taking the easy way out and walking the path of least resistance, despite clearly having the intelligence and skill to do otherwise.

The biggest point being he didn't even want to confirm whether Liam was the culprit or not, but I try not to reveal things if the reader didn't notice.

Hey, it's Ray. 🙈 Sorry in advance. I just want to make sure. I played Blake's route again. 🤔 I couldn't help but realize that it got shorter, or something changed in the story. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the part where the MC (Joel) rewinds time, in this update, he ends up waking up in the save room now. 🥲 I was so confused because last time, he woke up way before that. The thing is, I was waiting for that part, and it took me by surprise 😅.

Yeah, we removed that part. It was, at best, two lines and then the whole thing repeated itself. This new version provides an additional scene and puts you back into the story quicker.
